The AirSite Backhaul Free base station carries wireless voice and data signals back to the wireline network, eliminating the need for a physical backhaul link. The company markets its products worldwide to operators of wireless networks, as well as to military and public safety organizations through a network of original equipment manufacturers, agents, resellers, and direct sales force. AirNet was co-founded by Terry L. Williams in 1994 as Overture Systems, Inc. and subsequently changed its name to AirNet Communications Corporation.
