The Central Europe and Russia Fund, Inc. operates as a nondiversified closed-end management investment company that invests primarily in equity or equity-linked securities of central European and Russian companies. The fund also invests in other types of securities, such as warrants and participation certificates of issuers in any European country or Russia. Its portfolio includes investments in commercial banks, petroleum and natural gas, communications, mining, pharmaceutical, electrical, and pipeline sectors. Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG, serves as the investment manager of the fund. The Central Europe and Russia Fund was incorporated in 1990 and its principal executive offices are located in New York city, New York.
