It also offers pointing sticks/cursor controls for computers and games; piezoceramics substrates and assemblies used in medical, industrial, and other applications; and low temperature cofired ceramics for applications, such as global positioning system devices and electronic substrates used in various automotive and communications applications. Its products are primarily sold to automotive, communications, and computer original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The Electronics Manufacturing Services segment provides assembly of electronic and mechanical components into a finished subassembly, including printed circuit assembly, or the final assembly of a product. It also includes the design of interconnect systems and backplanes. EMS primarily offers its services to the computer and communications OEM markets, networking, medical diagnostic and imaging, industrial, and automotive industries, as well as to consumer electronics, instruments and controls, and defense/aerospace markets. It sells its products through independent manufacturersÂ’ representatives and distributors.
