Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft provides corporate and investment banking, private clients, and asset management products and services worldwide. The bank operates in The Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), and Private Clients and Asset Management (PCAM) divisions. The CIB division primarily serves global corporations, financial institutions, and sovereign and multinational organizations by originating, selling, structuring, and trading debt, foreign exchange, commodities, derivative, and money market products. It also provides clients with origination, sales, structuring, and trading activities across equity and equity-linked products, as well as offers services covering program trading and index arbitrage, structured equity transactions, and equity prime services. In addition, this division offers mergers and acquisition, and general corporate finance advice; leveraged debt and equity origination services; and various credit products and financial services. Additionally, the CIB division provides loans and structured finance, special financing solutions, and loans to corporate and institutional clients; cash management services; trade and risk management products; and custody services in Germany, as well as trust, payment, and administration services for debt and equity securities. The PCAM division provides private wealth management and asset management services to retail, private, and institutional clients. Its portfolio/fund management products include institutional fixed income and equity; mutual funds; and alternative investments, including hedge funds, quantitative strategies, real estate, and structured products. It also provides brokerage services that comprise advice on wealth management and growth. In addition, the PCAM division offers current accounts, time deposits and savings accounts, and secured and unsecured lending products; and payments, processing and disposition of cash and noncash payments in local currency, international payments, letter of credits, guarantees, and other cash transactions. It also offers discretionary portfolio management services, building financing, consumer and commercial loans, administration of current accounts in local and foreign currency, and insurance products, as well as issues credit cards and processes credit card payments. The bank operated from 1,559 facilities, as of December 31, 2004. The Deutsche Bank was founded in 1870 and is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany.
