The Electronic Security Services division provides electronic security services and related products, including intrusion and fire detection services, as well as access control systems and closed circuit television systems to residential homes, financial institutions, industrial and commercial businesses, warehouses, facilities of government departments, and health care and educational facilities. Devcon International was co-founded by Donald L. Smith, Jr. in 1951. The company was formerly known as Zinke-Smith, Inc. and changed its name to Devcon International Corp. in 1971.
