| South Jersey Industries, Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiaries, provides various energy services and products. The company, through its subsidiary, South Jersey Gas Company, distributes natural gas in the seven southernmost counties of New Jersey. It also sells natural gas and pipeline transportation capacity on a wholesale basis to various customers on the interstate pipeline system, transports natural gas, and services appliances via the sale of appliance warranty programs. The company also acquires and markets natural gas and electricity to retail end users, and provides energy management services to commercial and industrial customers. South Jersey Industries, through its other subsidiaries, markets wholesale natural gas storage, commodity, and transportation in the mid Atlantic and southern states, as well as develops and operates energy related projects, and installs residential and small commercial HVAC systems in southern New Jersey. South Jersey Industries was formed in 1969 and is based in Folsom, New Jersey. |
