Its DR-70 test kit is used in the detection of 13 types of cancer, including lung (small and nonsmall cell), stomach, breast, rectal, colon, and liver. As of December 31, 2003, DR-70 had not been cleared by the FDA. The companys other product, Pylori- Probe, an In Vitro Diagnostic test for antibodies to H. pylori bacterium, is cleared by FDA for sale in the United States. AMDL was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Tustin, California.
