Aehr Test Systems (ATS) engages in the design, manufacture, marketing, and servicing of test and burn-in equipment used in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Its principal products include MTX, MAX, and FOX systems, as well as DiePak carrier. The MTX system is a massively parallel test system designed to perform both test and burn-in on thousands of devices simultaneously. The MAX system burn-in and functionally test various devices, such as digital signal processors, microprocessors, microcontrollers, and systems-on-a-chip. The FOX system is designed to make contact with all pads of a wafer simultaneously, enabling full wafer burn-in and parallel test. The DiePak carrier is a reusable, temporary package that enables integrated circuit manufacturers to perform final test and burn-in of bare die. The company also provides system installation, system repair, applications engineering support, spare parts, customer training, and documentation services. ATS sells its products worldwide to semiconductor manufacturers, semiconductor contract assemblers, electronics manufacturers, and burn-in and test service companies. The company was co-founded by Rhea J. Posedel in 1977. ATS is headquartered in Fremont, California.
