Credicorp, Ltd., through its banking and nonbanking subsidiaries, provides various financial services and products throughout Peru and in selected areas of Bolivia and Columbia. The company provides commercial banking services, which include savings accounts, demand deposits, credit cards, fund transfer services, contingent credits, debit cards, corporate finance brokerage, commercial loans, insurance mortgage loans, master account, personal loans, and micro business credit. The insurance services provided by the company include commercial property, transportation and marine hull, automobile, life, health, and pension fund underwriting insurance. The investment banking services provided by the company are brokerage services, asset management and trust, custody and securitization services, and proprietary trading and investment. The company also invests in Peruvian government bonds, equity securities, bonds and debentures, Peruvian Central Bank certificate notes, and in other investments. As of December 31, 2003, the company operated through 349 branches. Credicorp was formed in 1995 and is headquartered in Lima, Peru.
