Brigham Exploration Company engages in the exploration and development of onshore domestic oil and natural gas properties using 3-D seismic imaging and other technologies. The companys exploration and production activities are focused primarily in the onshore Texas Gulf Coast, the Anadarko Basin of northwest Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle, and west Texas. Brigham Exploration also operates gas gathering systems. It sells its oil and natural gas to intrastate pipeline purchasers, operators of processing plants, and marketing companies.
