BioMarin Pharmaceutical has a joint venture, BioMarin/Genzyme LLC, with Genzyme Corporation for the development and commercialization of Aldurazyme, as well as a strategic business partnership with Daiichi Suntory Pharma Co., Ltd. for Phenoptin.
