Benetton provides sports garments and equipment that include In-line skates, skateboards and accessories, Tennis racquets and accessories, ski boots, skis and snowboards, sport apparel, and shoes. Its sportswear is distributed through the Playlife stores and equipment is marketed through sporting goods stores. The company also licenses its trademarks for products manufactured and sold by others, including fragrances and cosmetics, watches, sunglasses, houseware, and other fashion accessories. The company was established by Luciano, Giuliana, Gilberto, and Carlo Benetton in 1965 and is headquartered in Ponzano, Italy.
