In addition, it offers product application support, installation/deployment services, technical training, and product repair and upgrade services. The company sells its products to service providers worldwide through direct sales force, original equipment manufacturers, value-added resellers, system integrators, and distributors. The company was originally incorporated as Phone Info., Inc. in California in 1983 and changed its name to Automated Call Processing Corporation, Inc. It sold portions of its business and merged with its wholly owned subsidiary in 1997 and the surviving entity was renamed Ditech Corporation. Ditech Corporation changed its name to Ditech Communications Corporation in 1999. The company is headquartered in Mountain View, California.
