The company operates in four segments: Digital and Film Imaging Systems (DFIS), Health, Commercial Imaging, and Graphic Communications. The Digital and Film Imaging Systems (DFIS) segment offers digital and traditional products for consumers, professional photographers, and the entertainment industry. It manufactures and markets films, photographic papers, processing services, photofinishing equipment, photographic chemicals, and cameras. It also offers other products and services, which include kiosks, printer docks, consumer digital services, and inkjet media. In addition, DFIS offers digital processing of digital images and traditional film, prints, private online image storage, sharing, and editing, as well as creative tools, frames, cards, photo calendars, and other merchandise. The Health segment offers various products and services that enable healthcare customers to capture, process, integrate, archive, and display images and information in various forms. Its products include traditional analog medical films, chemicals, and processing equipment. It also offers digital medical imaging and information products, which include laser imagers, digital print films, computed and digital radiography systems, and healthcare information systems. In addition, the Health segment provides molecular imaging for the biotechnology research market. The Commercial Imaging segment provides production document scanners; micrographic peripherals; aerial, industrial, and micrographic films; and optics and optical systems. It also provides maintenance and professional services for products manufactured by the company and other manufacturers, and imaging services to customers. The Graphic Communications segment offers continuous inkjet printing systems, digital on-demand color and monochrome printing equipment, wide-format inkjet printers, inks, media, and services. In addition, Kodak provides complimentary metal oxide semiconductor image sensor devices and organic light emitting diode displays, as well as nonrechargeable, rechargeable, and photoelectronic batteries, and software used to organize, print, and share digital pictures. The company was formed in 1901 and is based in Rochester, New York.
