The EICS segment designs, manufactures, sells, and provides logistical support for communications, radar, information, command and control systems, and large-scale integrated circuits for defense and commercial markets. The company operates in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, Poland, and other countries. Griffon was incorporated in 1959. It was formerly known as Instrument Systems Corporation and changed its name to Griffon Corporation in 1995. Griffon Corporation is headquartered in Jericho, New York.
