The Electrical Products segment distributes and sells consumer electric corded products and electrical accessories. Its products include extension cords, work lights, surge suppressors, power taps and strips, electric accessories, and outdoor lights and timers. Katy Industries offers its products through a combination of direct sales personnel, manufacturers' sales representatives, and wholesale distributors to national home improvement and mass merchant retailers, and janitorial/sanitary and foodservice distributors, as well as to restaurant supply, retail, electrical, and automotive markets in the United States and the United Kingdom. The company was organized in 1967 and is headquartered in Middlebury, Connecticut.
