Met-Pro Corporation engages in the manufacture and sale of product recovery and pollution control equipment for purification of air and liquids, and fluid handling equipment for corrosive, abrasive, and high temperature liquids. Its product recovery/pollution control equipment includes product recovery and dry particulate collectors; water treatment compounds; PHI coagulant and flocculent polymer products, and a chlorine dioxide treatment program for municipal drinking water sterilization; corrosion resistant pumps, filter chambers, and filter systems; laboratory fume hood exhaust systems and specialty blowers, and industrial fans for industrial applications; industrial and municipal air and water quality control systems, such as chemical and biological odor control systems, fume and emergency gas scrubbers, wet particulate collectors, air strippers and degasifiers for contaminated groundwater treatment, and ducting and exhaust fans; and air and water pollution control equipment. In addition, the company offers fluid handling equipment that consists of filter systems, custom pleaters and filter cartridges, pumps for industrial applications, and fiberglass reinforced plastic centrifugal pumps. Met-Pro offers its products primarily through sales personnel, distributors, representatives, and agents to industrial, commercial, and residential markets. The company, formerly known as Met-Pro Pennsylvania, Inc., was incorporated in 1966 and is headquartered in Harleysville, Pennsylvania.
