Micronetics, Inc. engages in the design, development, manufacture, and marketing of wireless components and test equipment used in digital cellular, microwave, satellite, radar, and communication systems worldwide. Its Defense Electronics Group offers solid state microwave switches; attenuators; limiters; phase shifters; filters; control devices and assemblies; individual RFIC/MMIC chips to broadband, RF/Microwave integrated converter subsystem assemblies; microwave PIN diode double and multithrow switches; switch filter bands and integrated assemblies; and detectors and multifunction modules to defense and aerospace entities. The companys Commercial Group offers various broadband test solution platforms specifically designed to serve the wireless telecommunications and satellite communication, and other markets. Instruments based on these platforms perform various tests that are used in performance verification and the emulation of impairments in cellular/PCN/PCS, satellite, and cable modem communication systems. In addition, Micronetics offers voltage controlled oscillators for providing a precise signal source within a given frequency range. These products generate sinusoidal signals in frequency ranges from 100MHz to approximately 7.5GHz, utilizing packaged silicon bipolar transistors. Micronetics was incorporated in 1975 and is headquartered in Hudson, New Hampshire.
