These retail distribution utilities serve approximately 112,800 electric and natural gas customers in their franchise areas. Additionally, Unitil Resources, Inc., a subsidiary of the company, provides energy brokering, consulting, and management related services. Further, Usource, Inc. and Usource L.L.C., wholly owned subsidiaries of Unitil Resources, provide energy brokering services, as well as various energy consulting services to large commercial and industrial customers in the northeastern United States. The company was organized in 1984 and is headquartered in Hampton, New Hampshire.
